Later on I did get various dialogue options again that pointed to my encounter with him after figuring out how to speak to the frozen / dreaming guy in the inn.
Try to Google it, but I don't think it ends with that.
Here, I want to share this type of moment that happened last night with a friend, also in Honour Mode, so that you don't feel so alone (Spoilers for the Nightsong-related quest) :
We were wrapping up the Gauntlet of Shar, and the question of the Nightsong came up. So far, we went "good-aligned", and isn't our first playthrough. The reasoning was "I don't want to kill the Nightsong", but he wanted the armor set that you get if you do, so we went for it.
Turns out, killing the Nightsong, regardless of your alignment (if you kidnapped Isobel or not, for example), turns off Isobel's barrier, and nukes Last Light Inn. So we instantly lost access to Dammon, Wulbren and co. for ... a piece of armor he sold in Rivington.
