Gith shard bug
I pick-pocketed Kith'rak Therezzyn and stole gith shard and went to insert it in the barrier generator thing, but after I inserted the shard Kith'rak came to me and started an dialogue where she accused me of stealing I managed to get out of the dialogue without her becoming hostile but the shard was gone and the barrier was still there and I can not progress. This is in my first Honour mode and I can't do anything to progress the story. Is there anything I can do?

Kill her.

I did and she doesn't have the shard in her inventory

If you haven't saved after, ALT Tab from game kill the game from task manager, reload game and start from where it saved last. (Cheaty way of a type of save scum on Honor Mode.)

I exited the game so it saved automatically.

Can you pass through with misty step?

Nope, I tried

Sorry, but not a Bug. This is a direct result of your actions.

Stealing from Kithric does not mean you automatically get away with it. Kithric no doubt realized the Shard was missing and knew there was only one place to use it. Thus, you were caught. Now the Shard is secured somewhere safe. Away from thieving hands.

In short, the developers knew that some would try and do this and planned for a logical outcome.

I bet if you had not been able to 'talk' your way out of a fight, you might have found it on his body. But once you let him walk off with it? Could be anywhere. Or nowhere.

The thing is after the shard disappeared I went to talk to Kithric and said that I have the artefact ( so she can open the barrier) and she told me to go visit the inquisitor and then she walked to the generator and went to insert the shard but she didn't had it and she became hostile and I had to kill her.

There is no way that this is not a bug because when I inserted the shard there was a short dialogue/cut scene that was interrupted by Kithric so the shard was already inside the generator thingy and the barrier should have been opened.

So, she took it out of the generator. I know you don't like the outcome of your actions, but that's the way it goes in this game sometimes. Instead of fussing over it, just move on. :)

What you describe is exactly what I would expect to have happened if the developers had taken stealing the Shard into account.

You cannot just do whatever you want to do in this game and then expect that there will be no consequences or repercussions. Your choices matter.

If she took it shouldn't it be in her inventory then? This isn't some side quest it is has big impact on the story so no I don't think the item should have disappeared from the game if you stole it.

If it is not in your inventory, check your companions and your camp chest.

If you cannot find it, you should send a bug report to Larian. But this would sadly not help you fast enough, if it would help at all.

Sounds like you glitched that out. But you do not need that part to progress with the story.

I recommend reporting this one to Larian Support through this link: https://larian.com/support/faqs/how-to-submit-a-bug-report_85

Make sure to clarify how you got through the conversation after you got caught.
Larian likes to have robust safeguards anticipating different tactics from players and it sounds like Kith'rak should have the item on them after the conversation, or lying nearby, or back in your inventory. Depending on what happened in the cutscene.
If Larian agrees they'll add it to the todo for future patches.

Other than that, good thing it doesn't break your Honour Mode play-through as Pomacanthus pointed out above.

It doesn't break my Honour Mode play-through but I really wanted the Blood of Lathander and I lose XP, but I guess there is nothing I can do. I reported the bug to Larian Support and I hope they will fix this in later patches.

Unfortunately you seem to have found the only way to break this script. Normally she can and will open the door and send you in, and its scripted so she does not require the shard to do it, or you can fight her and take it after.

Stuff happens, though. My last game, the statues would not turn to open the BOL area, so I could not claim it.
