Are there seriously no mage hoods in this game?

Cool looking mages has cowls and hoods not fobby wizbang gandalf style hats
Rogues get a drow hood (with mouth cover, light armor, useless for mage armor mages)
Monks get a odd monk cloth cowl that look silly and not magey at all

Why have so many dnd games completely stopped making real mage cowls?
Look at BG1/2, they all have mage cowls, it's part of a mage robe
hooded robes are the embodyment of what it means to be mage, it's unforgivable to not have mage hoods in dnd game, not silly harry potter pointy hats

And also coifs never seem to exists either (only PoE1 had this right)
If lucky something shows up later in game, but end of act 2 and still no hooded robes, i feel like a clergyman rather than mysterious mage - meh!

There is at least one, 'Hood of the Weave', matching the robe. I do not remember, though, where you cn obtain it, definitely in the act III
As for coifs, those are very hard to draw realistically for chararcters' models, especialy in motion

Cool looking wizards also wear full plate armor because they aren't idiots.
And because they aren't idiots they also have max dex because full plate armor does not restrict your movements and wouldn't make spells sometimes fail for no reason.

I agree there should be more Hoods with enchantments and traits and fewer helmets. There are helmets everywhere you look, but no hoods of note except one.

there's one or two, I think. Hood of the Weave in Act 3. Pretty standard Mage hood.

and the person i responded to comes along the forum and deflects every piece of valid criticism they come across. that is a fact, by the way, that you can simply verify trough post history.

there is a difference between what you said, supposedly telling people to "not love a game because it has a bug", and telling people to accept that the game isnt 11/10 perfect with absolutely no issues. but hey, nice strawman you created there.
