You need to get yourself the Mac Mod Manager, which can be found at Github.
And you need to accept one other reality: Macs can't run Script Extender, so some of the best mods - as well its own functions - are off limits to us.
All that said, there still are dozens of mods you CAN run - class mods, spell mods, equipment mods, gameplay mods, and cosmetic and QoL mods - and I do.
Turns out if you have some patience and fortitude, there's even something called Debug Book mod which seems to do many things Script Extender can.
The Script Extender situation is a unique problem right now for BG3, and could be solved if Norbyte does Mac users a solid (seems it won't happen) or if Larian opens up the game's debug console. (They might, eventually.)
