you resisting arrest makes the tieflings hostile; stop blaming her because you chose violence - that's on you
just go to jail and break out like a sensible person. it's what i did when this happened to me
curiously nobody dies when you aren't actively fighting them! who would have thought?
Same thing happened in my multiplayer game, except that Gale did not choose violence and got arrested. Escaping the prison had some hazards and we ended in a quite difficult fight with other things.
Now it really depends on my mate who plays a semi-evil lolth sworn drow. But my bard (who is mostly neutralish and not with the highest morals) won't be putting a good word for the tieflings. That joke might have quite a dire consequences.
The quest is not broken, though. Just Mol is a a piece of ****
Well, Gale and my main were close and we had a quite hard fight. And also... I've had characters start fights for less. ;)
Depends…who are the adults more likely to believe? Their own kids (and remember this is a community of refugees who have to stick together) or some random blowhard who just waltzed into town? Other than having helped fight off the goblins at the gate…you’re nobody special to these people.
Its easily the most broken component of Act 1 by a mile. On release our 4 man coop got stuck in a cycle of hell where we had a negative interaction with them somehow, and then anytime we re-entered the grove the guards would aggro on a single player at random. We'd talk our way out of going to jail and then it would happen again over and over like 4-8 hours after the fact. Was totally borked.
Since then I don't even bother, especially since Act 3 Mol has no closure to speak of lol. Just turns up in her final position, no interesting dialog, no cross dialog with her old peers, very unsatisfying.
This guy gets it. Everyone else had so much cool-aid I hate Mol again.
lol. Im in Act 3 and the only quest from Act 1 thats still open is.....
You guessed it..... Find the breach. LOL
Entire quest chain is like bugged to the bedrock of the codding of the game or something :D
