I find myself in a bit of a problem

I like Style I like having my character look awesome but I'm also practical if an outfit looks awesome but completely sucks then I'll take the next best thing. Right now I just downloaded the mod basket full of equipment and found out that inside I was able get the outfit and hat of the cool nurses from Act 2. The problem is the outfit and hat aren't anything special really they have a few cool things but I know I'm going to get something far better later on. So what I'm wondering is if there is a way for me to have the outfits and hats from basket full of equipment only as Camp outfits in other words only appearance and no stat.

The creator of the mod has another mod that converts the basket of equipment into camp outfits. You'll need either version of the main "Basket Full of Equipment" mod and the camp outfit mod. The mod which is called "Basket Equipment to Camp Clothing" spawns an extra container holding the camp variants as long as you have both mods.

Does it work on the hats because I did see it and the reason I didn't test it out is because I wasn't sure if it worked on the hats and the hats are the most important thing for me since I'm using a mod that makes it so the body of my character Clips through essentially all the clothing from the basket.

There are hints and rumors that transmog may be a feature in Patch 6. Take all such things with the usual grains of salt.

There is a Sorceror Robe that I think looks atrocious on male sorceror Jacelyn, so I usually make his camp clothes appear instead of his robe to deal with it (as I like the stats). (OTOH, it looks fine on my sorceress Tav, when she doesn't switch in camp to lacy underwear or, well, au naturel.)

Transmog mods require SE which I can't run. Larian adding transmog to the game would be really nice.
