Combat Log
I really would like a better Combat Log.

I would like to select a Character and press a button at the log that says "Actions relating the selected Character"

I would like to have a button to see "Party related Actions"

I would like to see a text like this: "Goblin usese "Melee Attack" against "Tav": Resulting Attack Roll: 16 against Resulting Defence: 16. Sucess! Resulting Damage: 10"

Now you're able to hover over "Melee attack" "Resulting Attack Roll" "Resulting Defence" "Resulting Damage" to see the math behind this. The same of course for status.

I really hate that I have to look up all the math and just see "Attack done. Sucess" and then in two lines and not in one (Even crowding the combat log more)

I've looked for a mod that would solve this for me but no luck, so PLEASE Larian <3

I also have things flash messages on the screen I'd like to be able to review, like quest updates (to see the name of the quest).

Oh and another thing: If I enlarge the combat log, stay with the actual latest actions! If I scroll up and something happens while it's my turn, it should auto-refresh. If I scroll while an enemy is attacking, it should stay where I point my mouse at.

So you're saying that this "is not enough math" for you?

Is this a stupidity contest? If a quest gets an update then there IS a flashing message including the name of the quest (and a swooshing sound effect) in the (upper) middle of the screen. Viewing the quest log page (Journal), the updated quest has a glowing exclamation mark inviting the viewer to read what has happened. How more obvious do you need that?

Omg reading is a skill and you failed.

I want it to be EASIER to read - I HAVE to hover over everything when I want to know what armor class I have and what attack roll they made - the log just tells you the damage without hovering. And I want to read it easier - in one sentences instead of :

Goblin used Ranged Attack.
Goblin missed Tav.

I want it to be like:

Goblin used Ranged Attack (16) against Tav (17). Miss!

And then be able to hover over the numbers to see the actual math.

They want it to appear in the log (so you're able to see WHEN it happened)
What is your problem here?!

I like the Combat Log. I like the information that is available and I like the way info is bundled within summary data.

However, I would like Initiative rolls included. And it would be nice if the log window was movable (or is it?).

With a mod it's moveable.
And yes, Initiative rolls would be nice too.
And of course it's nice to have at least somewhat of a log - but it's really bad to read and could be enhancend.

Don't let me start with the inventory ui and how it works with splitting items and putting multiple items in a bag (you can't with just picking it up with the mouse and put it in a bag - you have to OPEN the bag and put it inside of a slot)

The other way around: coherent writing is a skill in which you failed. Don't put that on me.
Besides what difference does it make to put a number behind it? The outcome is the same and you still need to look it up if you want to know the details. But sure, have a mod or whatever.

Also you CAN drag several items ONTO a bag and it puts those items in that bag... (except wanting to put items in a special bag that don't belong in there, like non-alchemy ingredients into the alchemy bag)

I told exactly what I want to read and how it is right now.

I just want it to show easy accumulated numbers against numbers without extensive math (but I want to check the math when I hover over the numbers) and I want to filter the log to show only things specific to one character. The result is seen when something happened; I want to see WHY it happened - but not every time with the whole math behind it.

Yes, you're able to drag several items in the bag. But you can't just take two healing potions, drag them to a bag and drop it; it will just switch the place.

But yeah, I guess it's my writing, not your absurd need to answer to a topic "just because" even when it's not constructive.

Well, there was an idiotic post replying. Someone who doesn't understand the people can miss a flashing message, and that quest logs can be filled with ! marked quests.
