Skeleton Involucre popping instantly?

Whenever a skeleton involucre is made its meant to pop on its turn, however it seems to just pop after 6 seconds in combat? This makes the kethric thorm fight really annoying because I have to be fast irl to actually destroy the involucre's

EDIT: I've just realised that what is happening is that when Thorm creates these involucre's, they're not entering combat most of the time, so they just pop when its been 1 turn outside of combat?
