Is the Halberd of Vigilance bugged?
I just bought this weapon at Moonrise Tower.

It is listed as doing 1d10 slashing damage, 1d4 force damage, plus 2 for the enchantment (and +4 for my character's Strength score), for a total of 8-20.

But once it is actually in my hand, the character sheet lists the damage as 7-16. Inspecting the damage calculus shows no mention of force damage. And I tried using the halberd against a wall that was immune to everything except force damage, and it had no effect.

Is this a known bug, or am I overlooking something?

You... seem not to understand how the damage calculation works.

Try explaining why you think there is a +4 for damage from your ability score.

Eh? Str adds to hit and damage.

OP, try hitting something without toughness. Objects are a bit buggy. Test it on a companion.

The modifier. Not the strength score.

"Hey, Astarion."

Hmm. The force damage DID apply.

It's a tooltip quirk. For example, the Caustic Ring does not show up until you hit and you will see it in the log. Despite having a lot of bugs the log is the best place to look.
