help! How to fix character creation?

hi there! i've been experiencing a bug with character creation and it doesn't seem to go away. even not when i reinstalled the game.
i've been trying to look for an answer everywhere but haven't had any luck. please help !!
so basically when you create a character when you click edit character do do things like eye colors and all the other option, well those options to edit don't appear when you click on it

If you've used mods in the past with BG3, reinstall doesn't mean all their meddling is cleared up. There are guides on how to completely clean up mod files.

I don't know if you've used mods, but this is a common symptom found with mod use.

no not this time. all the mods are gone. my friends want to play without mods and so i uninstalled all mods and reinstalled the game to get the files back to normal.

i did try to remove the mods from the folders if you mean that but if you mean something else then do you have a guide recommended? it would help a lot cause i and my friend are both trying to fix the problem as we wanna go play in a big group. we also had to reinstall the game cause we deleted the pak files but then the game didn't want to start anymore at all.

thank you! i only had to do the cleaning cache one, i stopped just before the verify files one as i basically seemed to have reset the game itself and tested to see if it might already work and it does work again! thank you now i can edit my characters again!!
