Barfing rainbows

I'm asking this to find out whether I should purchase this game or not. One reviewer described this game by saying, and I quote "the caveat is that you get gay propaganda shoved down your throat at every opportunity. You will be barfing rainbows by the 20-hour mark".

How much of this crap is actually in the game?

It is not that bad. Give it a chance if you like turn based RPG's.

Is there an agenda, like in most mainstream media? Yes, but its not heavy handed, besides being hit on by same sex party members, due to a very generic romance engine which makes no distinction based on male or female roles in the romance. I do wish you could select your sexual preference in character creation and avoid some of the cringe.

Yes, you will encounter same sex couples, and some very odd parings that you have to wonder how do they even...

Are there strong heroic and villainous women? Yes, as well as strong heroic and villainous men.

I know most of these posts are troll posts by conservatives, trying to point out the absurdity of the world we live in today. I can absolutely agree with the absurdity, where all we hear about is "follow the science" until it comes to DNA, basic biology or kindergarten level language, but posts like these does the game a disservice as well as the movement to quell the ridiculous agenda being pushed.

Ignore the agenda, tailor your player character and party to your liking and enjoy the game.
But whatever you do, do not use the random character generator..

I like this. I just wanted to see how much I was going to groan at how awful the propaganda was going to be. Thank you.

I'm havin a grand ol' time smoochin Minthara and dominating everything with her. Smoochin 'er after every big event to balance it all out

I personally don't get when right wing people seem to think free speech is the be all end all of freedom. Everyone else who is not as extreme as them on that position are fascists. Would being in a prison that you can cuss at the guards be freedom?

Isn't it the developers freedom to add 'gay' stuff. You can criticise this if you like but the decision never seems to stay on that. Not sure why this is happening on this games forum so much. The amount of anti ''woke'' threads that seem to be floating about here. Maybe the games popularity goes against the go woke go broke mantra and this needs to be remedied by five people complaining? A poor attempt of a cancellation if you will?

I think I'm more a freedom of expression type of person. It's broader and doesn't have as much of a dodgy movement attached to it. As long as no one is being hurt, everyone is on board with the consent of the situation and is within the law, (even if where i am the government seem to be clamping down on even free speech.) not sure what would be the problem?

I don't get why a lot seem to be anti choice about very avoidable things in this game. The need to even have mods to make sure not to bump into things by accident, isn't that a bit far?

I blame the right wing content mills for all of this. There seems to be so many, that they have to go into increasingly more petty things to stand out and and pump out excessive videos.
