Turn it on.
Add the bark.
Add a greatsword, sickle, or shortsword.
Plus it looks cool, reason enough :)
The situations where it was useful... I have a hard time remember it being more than a handful of times.
Just do as yahboi1988 instructed to craft it.
I used it as a dagger on a dual wielder. And that was pretty much it.
This has become a quest I always skip.
Almost nothing goes above a +1 in act one.
I'd argue the Sword of Justice is better than the Susser Greatsword.... Generally. It was really funny to silence spellcasters, but a free spell to get +2 AC is also really valuable in its own right.
Relatively minimal effort as well, since you kinda want to go that way anyway for XP and good secondary targets for Glut.
Of course, I´m not exactly arguing that VERY few options should be +2 in act 1. My OP was exactly to know if they exist and where they are in act 1.
Dagger, not shortsword. I know because I made one. And never used it.
