Does Script Extender replace Mod Fixer?
If Mod Fixer is needed, is it possible to use Script Extender instead?

Yes.

Yup and most of the mods that need it, don't actually need it.

This appears to be true, and if I could use it, all my problems with embedded Mod Fixer in other mods would be solved.

Sigh. (Also wish I could see the ones it is embedded in.)

But yes.

Yes.
How? I installed the SE and it didn't seem to perform the functions of Mod Fixer. I got an issue associated with Mod Fixer not being installed (because a mod required it).

So ... bearing in mind I don't use Windows, forgive me if I'm giving incorrect advice, but ... I can only repeat what I've seen.

https://github.com/Norbyte/bg3se/issues/186

[Norbyte Posted on 12/3]
It includes a savegame story merge fix that applies on top of mod fixer, but does not include mod fixer as of v11.
v12 will include a full replacement though.
[snip][end]

So: according to Norbyte, v12 incorporates all of Mod Fixer's functionality. Therefore, make sure it is updated to that.

I'm being cautious as somebody just yelled at me for giving incorrect advice about Vortex. I admit I would know more about things I could actually use. Short of that, all I can do is read, and assume info is correct.
