Lae'zel won't join the party.

There is something odd when I start new playthroughs. When I encounter Lae'zel on the Nautiloid she will speak to me as if I made a githyanki character despite not being one and after the battle with the imps, she does not join the party and cannot be spoken too. She will say "I'm busy at the moment". I also noticed the Wyl won't join the battle with the goblins at the druid grove entrance. Is this some sort of bug or is me playing with mods somehow factoring into this?

That's a very simple answer: your mods.

(PS: doesn't happen for me with an unmodded game. Remove your mods now to be able to open the important doors later, as mods apparently also break that ^^)
