that is the only way to walk away from her alive
"I wish you were dead!"
Stomps feet, throws tantrum
a real god wouldn't give a ♥♥♥♥ if you questioned their divinity; they'd laugh and have you fight exploding spiders or something just to make you sweat for their own amusement
"Wish" is a literal spell in DND that can do anything, including mercing people. Her dialogue: "You wish to see godhood? I *wish* you to end!" is her using the Wish spell, betraying the fact that she's actually just a very powerful mage and not a literal god.
But yeah, no, you can't bluff your way out of this particular interaction. All you can do is either do what she tells you to or otherwise lie to her and say you'll do it but then don't. But either way once you get to this point you have to go into the Astral Prism and can't leave until you talk to the Dream Guardian. Kill them or don't - your choice - but this is the only way forward.
as much respect as i have for characters who can ♥♥♥♥ talk gods unfortunately that doesn't work in the D&D world lol
the gods of the forgotten realms are cruel and petty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who will smite you just because they're bored
I just told her to go away. And she was like: "Well, you will do what I say anyways because you have no choice." Then spawned that teleportation to the astral plane. Honestly, kinda surprised she didn't force your parties hand and transfer you herself. Though fwiu if NWN2 is to be believed, Vlaakith is basically queen lich-♥♥♥♥♥ and is a essentially a demi-god who doesn't with to "dirty her hands". I did a run without outright killing La-Zael this time and I got her to go: "♥♥♥♥ that ♥♥♥♥♥."
Warlocks get a special dialogue option to tell her something to the effect of "I know a bum deal when I see one, the answer is no I don't owe you anything." which declines her without her murdering your entire party.
Opposing gods doesn't mean being suicidal about it. In Planescape the Athar are anti-divine and don't believe any gods are worthy of worship but they also recognize they are powerful so they don't march up to them and antagonize them either.
