What does "Tav" stand for?

I use the term PC for the player's character. This is the first game forum I've ever seen that uses Tav.

Tav is the custom PC's default name. Probably a contraction of "The [player's] Avatar", or it has an actual meaning I'm not aware of.

"Tav" is the default name of your character and IIRC it comes from the lead dev's cat's name.

During the early development of Baldur's Gate 3, Gustav was the internal project name for the game at Larian Studios. This name was chosen after the CEO Swen Vincke's dog, Gustav, and was later shortened to Tav as the default name for custom player characters.
