Unless scrolls don't use the DC of the caster?
1. Scrolls only use the casters DC if they use the same ability as the scroll which is usually INT.
2. 25% chance doesn't translate to a guaranteed 1 success for every 4 attempts. Each attempt is a new 25% chance and has no regard for your previous attempts.
I know how percentages work. I'm just saying, it's a LITTLE BIT FUNNY. That's all.
I mean we have had an epidemic of people making pseudo-intellectual posts about RNG lately so.....
Is your character a multiclass? Multiclassing messes things up for casters. Scrolls use the Spell DC of the last lvl 1 selected. Otherwise all spells, scrolls included use the Spell Save DC of the caster.
She has Magic Resistance which makes her initial Saving Throw d20(Adv)+3 and changes thing. A 23 Spell Save DC washes out the Advantage because neither roll can be higher than 20.
I'm waiting to see if it's different in my current playthrough.
