Can I play with Japanese friends ？？

I want to play with them but in Japan game get heavily censored so I worried that I can’t play with them

I'd imagine since the steam version was available before and it's more of a global release it should be ok, but would be interesting to know for sure. xD

There is no Cross-System play, so you would all have to have the same PC or Console systems to play together.

All the game information is kept on the Host system, so I don't know if multiple languages are possible. Would just have to try.

While BG3 is not a Real-Time Shooter, the main world IS in Real-Time, so system lag could be an issue if you are not all in the same country.

It could also be an issue if the actual Larian Studios BG3 releases are different in Japan than elsewhere. If everyone is not playing in Japan.

Just have to try it. Experiment and see.

Maraxus is correct. Cero Z rating is applied on Playstation 5 but the Steam version is uncensored and should be fully compatible.
