having a mod problem
first, don't judge my mod choices, i already know it's stupid. second, the issue i am having is that i am trying to have the body in this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/2351?tab=description working with the clothes in this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/2617?tab=files. however when i equip the clothes in the second mod they are clipping and some of them like the nurse outfit simply don't appear. i know not all outfits work with all body mods, i am not this dumb, but if you look in the files of the body bod there is actually an optional file for those two mods to work together and acording to the changelogs 3.4 should work with the nurse outfit. so can anyone tell me why it is doing this and how to fix it? also i swear if an other person tells me to not mod the game i will lose it, i know i would be having a lot less trouble if i didn't mod the game but i want to mod the game so i am modding the game.

clothing mod is made for default body types and you've installed a mod that changes the body types

yeah but in the body type mod there is a file that says that it would work with the outfit mod, yet it doesn't. why?

That was the sole reason they made a limited number of generic ragdoll models in the game. Clipping, seams, and tearing are expected for items not built for the ragdoll models at hand.

but then what does the optional file do?

Could be load order issues or wrongly installed stuff

well to install i just clicked download with vortex since i use vortex and for the load order i have the body mod at the bottom, clothes above it and the optional file at the top. i am explainin the order from bottom to top because i am not sure what the load order section in vortex mean since the update but i have been moving the mods around and nothing changes.

first of all is using bg3 mod manager actually gonna change anything? because if it is the sure i will start from the begining again.

second of all i don't have the time, energy or skills in english to learn how to mod.

I think the comment or bug section on nexus would make more sense to ask about any issues about these mods. I think the mod maker would know better about what is wrong.

i looked in the bug section and it says that everything works fine. i could ask in the comment section but i did that previously on skyrim mods and i never got any answers, but it was on skyrim, i guess i might get an answer this time.

now is there any way to reverse to the og models without a reinstall?

I think you fell in the logic trap when it comes to mod load order

1 Body mod
2 Camp cloths
3 Compatibility for camp cloth with body

That should work better ;P
