Report a translation problem
Quest items are not necessarily to turn in. At times they lost their use and can be stored safely in the Travellers Chest. Should you need it later it gets added into your inventory automatically.
Things like books may be a quest item because you have to read them to make progress on a quest, but you don't have to turn them in to anyone.
That's true, there are many different ways thing can go, and it's hard to keep track of everything with so much going on. Even after 3 playthroughs I am not sure what all of those items do. xD
