I might try out that mod if nothing else helps. Will it block archievements?
Not as far as I can remember. I don´t think so. Any way to check it to be sure?
None that I know of. Especially if they have been uninstalled and any Mod Manager removed.
But, if there have been, that is almost assuredly the cause of this problem. :/
Think back. It is pretty important as Mods can not only impact the current game, but also any future game played on that BG3 installation.
1. Kill Wyll at camp. Then have Withers resurrect him. Long rest and see.
2. A complete clean of BG3 files and re-installation. Can backup the saves if you wanted to try and see if it is they that are no good. If this option is chosen, the Saves must be manually backed up, Cloud Saves turned off, and the Larian Studios folder manually deleted.
