From the Net:

* To do this, head to the Options page and select the Gameplay tab.

* Then, navigate to the Save Options section and check the box that says “Cross-Save.”

* Once you’ve enabled it, the game will upload your save files to Larian’s servers, which you can access across PC, Xbox, and PS5.

Which means you need a Larian account to do this. It is not done through Steam Cloud Saves.

Not sure if this is still accurate. But it is what I found.

Yeah.. Still greyed out

So, set the option on both PS5 and PC BG3 settings? And made an actual Larian Studios account? For both PC and PS5 users?

PC user was not using Mods were they?

When first got the game (PS5) I made a Larian Studios account. It is linked to ps, steam and twitch. No mods on PC

Are you trying to do the Cross Save between the PC and PS5 on the same account?

I figured out a way to import a save game from Console to PC if your PC is having trouble syncing. Download your .lsv file from Larian Studios website, and replace the .lsv file from an existing save located in ...AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur’s Gate3\PlayerProfiles\Public\Savegames\Story\. Make sure the folder name matches the .lsv and .WebP file names.
Example:
-> Tav-251417383_AutoSave_48
----> AutoSave_48.lsv
----> AutoSave_48.WebP
It will start and say the game has been tampered with. Proceed and the save will start up. Then you will be able to save again and it will create a new save folder.
