Zarys is missing

I went to the missing shipment; killed the ogres?; the two guys there got killed; the quest says to return the shipment to Zarys.

But when I got where the map shows, it's a small building with a guy in it, and a hatch down to a room. Zarys isn't there.

I'm inclined to go back to the battle to try to save the two guys, but I'm wondering where Zarys is.

It's an odd layout, where there's a gap too large for jump, and you get trapped by a boulder.

Theres a wardrobe in that room that opens to the hideout. When you first enter the dude tells you this iirc
