They are good. Nothing more. Nothing less. There are better options/depends on how you multiclass.
Tbh, sounds like a fine idea. Could or could not work but you have a concept there so I’d say go for it. I found pure cleric kinda boring but I think they work well multiclassed after getting 5levels in cleric to cover the party needs and get the guardian spirits
Lathander works nicely as well. Able to survive pretty damn well (had the least HP but was always last one standing in my party)
The spell list isn't anything special I would say, but in general if you're going with a more offensive character there are only a few spells you will will regularly cast. Those are all there (spirit guardians, hold person etc.).
