This table tells you what proficiencies you get when you multiclass into a class
https://bg3.wiki/wiki/Classes#Multiclassing
If you want it, the best way to do it is start with Fighter
The rules say so
https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/basic-rules/customization-options#Proficiencies
In this game it makes it so you're better off respeccing to start with the class that has the most proficiency and best saves later.
It makes quite a lot sense.
Idk why but most of time dialogues have fighter option although I have more level in warlock. Yet some of them also/or has warlock options.
You get automatically the class tags for dialogue in any classes you have level in. Whether a dialogue offer a specific class option or not is another story.
In the tabletop I would agree with you as you're meant to plan out the character etc. Perhaps even from a roleplay perspective.
But in BG3 you can literally always respec for a low cost. So it doesn't make much sense here imo.
Nice then, thanks
Dip in Ranger instead, 1 level on them give you access to "favoured Enemy - Ranger Knight" that gives you History and Heavy Armor proficiency.
Don't know which build you're doing, but if you don't mind give up Warlock 11 and miss the Mystic Arcanum, that's just a lvl 6 spell you can cast once per long rest, dip 2 levels in ranger and you get access to Weapon Proficiency and +1 to your effective caster level.
Seems to me you are mixing things up there. Maybe you want to explain it more.
I am doing a build with mostly warlock and few fighter level one. Ranger is a far unkown class to me lol
