Now count all the LGBT characters and tell me who has clear dominance in the game. From character creation, where you have physical features on the male genitalia but not on the female chest, all the Companions who are clearly LGBT.
Most of the heroes are all female and Bi sexual, there are no male and brave heroes, or leaders. Clearly a big salad of Woke and LGBT with a minimalist percentage of Straight content. This game clearly focuses on the LGBT community, and there's nothing wrong with that, and that's what the developers wanted to do, but declaring this game as a Straight work is madness.
Well, when you put it like that, it does raise an eyebrow, doesnt it?
These dead spouses DO count, but in a different way than you expected.
It almost seems like theres a subtle narrative being spun here, that hetero relationships are a thing of the past, relegated to backstory and memory. Not saying its a deliberate theme, but you cant help but notice a pattern. Maybe its just a coincidence, or maybe there's a deeper message being implied. Interesting how narratives shift and evolve.
Implying that calling out his hypocrisy and shady censorship is "excessive criticism"
I can't tell if this is sarcastic or not.
Anyone who played the game knows, all the Heroes Npcs, the customizations, the traveling companions, the city of Baldurs gate, everything revolves around LGBT culture. Absolutely zero percentage of Straight content.
Ah yes, ♥♥♥♥ physics, no boob physics, SOLID PROOF of LGBT agenda! (LOL)
Wow, and with that declaration Kevlor ceased to exist, what about Orpheus, and Minsc (look he may be stupid but he's plenty brave), let alone Halsin (but yes, I know, bi bear seks) ....
Yep. Totally: it's a dangerous world, and your spouse can die.
Once again, Jaheira's husband DIED IN BG2 twenty years ago. Is (2000 era) Bioware part of this conspiracy along with Larian?
Even James Bond married once, in one of the early movies, then the bad guys killed his wife, and he never married ever again, even if he shags 1-2 ladies each film.
So tell me Mr.Wiseman, why no boob physic and yet males have it on their Mr. Dingles? Why? Enlight us with your wisdom.
And you confirmed when talked about Halsim, that freak shouldnt even be considered a hero, real, change into a bear to "bum da dum" humans is disgusting...
So that was 8 confirmed straight characters in Act One in the first post. I also forgot Elminster, Connor and the gnome with a daughter so that's 11. There's the two lesbian gnomes. We have 8 bi characters in Act 1, all the companions. Everyone else's sexuality is never referenced. So straight up by three over bi, tone over LGBT in general. Act 2 we have two confirmed gay people, Isobel and Aylin. We also have two confirmed straight people, Jaheira and Kethric. Again, all others not confirmed so the lead for straight remains the same. In Act 3 we have Oskar, Jannath, Oskar's ex and Karlach's old friend, all straight, remaining characters unconfirmed. Do the maths, you'll that puts straight a ways ahead.
Again, what the hell do floppy ♥♥♥♥♥ have to do with LGBT?
Nobody is declaring the work purely straight, we're just contesting the idea it is only catering the LGBT (as if the number of straight players enjoying it were not enough for that)
I agree that it interesting that there are so many options for male physical features and yet none really for female features, but I chalked that up to acknowledging that a large percentage of males are pretty obsessed with their own equipment.
There's a pretty even spread between male and female heroes - For every Jaheira there is also a Minsc (and a Boo!), for example, and as far as I can tell, they are both considered exclusively het.
I can't really believe this is even still a topic. I thought we got past this stuff back in DAII.
I don't consider any of the companions to be specifically bi, they just aren't gated for some arbitrary reason from my fantasy pursuit. Folks, *that's a good thing* - that means we don't have a bunch of straight guys angry they can't pursue one of the female companions, for example. Does that also mean you might have an experience with Halsin approaching you that you might not be interested in? That's the trade off - and be glad that the worst experience you have with unwanted advances is some fantasy pixels in a video game. Many of us have had to deal with that in real life, in situations that could (and have) become very dangerous in an instant. For the whole of human history.
It still absolutely baffles me that in a universe where we have green aliens flying though portals on red dragons shooting down blue brain eating aliens on tentacle ships, the single biggest concern is the realism of same-gender attraction.
It's like you literally never picked up a book and read about the Drow or something, like this is all brand spanking new.
Y'all new to the Forgotten Realms or something?
Honestly, I chalked it up to just being too weird to simulate. Penis jiggle is a fair bit easier as you just have some wiggly tubes going on. For breasts? Thats a bit harder to do in a way that feels natural
