Astral Tadpole Question

When you consume the powers of the Astral Tadpole it transforms your character's visually appearance, giving them distinct black veins. Assuming one takes the "good" ending and destroys the Netherbrain, which is supposed to kill your tadpoles, do black veins go away afterward - e.g. in the immediate epilogue or in the after-party epilogue? I'm assuming they do since if your tadpole is dead then you shouldn't be part-Illithid anymore, right?

Nope, no matter if partially transformed or full transformed into Illithid. You can still have good ending but do not revert back to original appearance.
