Traditional Masculinity
I wanted to express my growing concern about the avalanche of overpowered feminist characters taking over the game. Don't get me wrong, I believe in strong and dynamic female characters, but the recent influx of seemingly invincible girl bosses is starting to feel like a bizarre fantasy that even Faerûn couldn't dream up.

Let's talk about realism. In a world teeming with mythical creatures and magic, it's essential that the characters stay grounded, right? I mean, how am I supposed to suspend disbelief when every other NPC turns out to be a walking powerhouse of empowerment? It's like every tavern you enter has a secret society of women who hold the secret to dominating every aspect of life, and frankly, it's getting old.

And don't even get me started on the combat scenarios. I thought the idea was to face challenges that require strategy and skill, not to witness a parade of girl bosses effortlessly dismantling every foe in their path. It's almost as if the laws of physics and combat proficiency were suddenly rewritten to accommodate an agenda.

This constant barrage of female characters succeeding in traditionally male-dominated roles is sending the wrong message. Where's the struggle, the growth, the realistic portrayal of challenges? It's almost insulting to think that these characters can conquer anything without breaking a sweat.

As I reflect on the issue of overpowered girl bosses in BG3, it strikes me that this is more than just a fantastical concern within the gaming realm. The absence of traditional masculinity in these narratives seems to be a reflection of a broader issue plaguing Western society today.

In the real world, we're witnessing a decline in testosterone levels, leading to a crisis in recruitment and retention across all branches of our armed forces. As tensions escalate on the Eastern European front, with Russia and Ukraine, and in the Middle East, between Israel and Palestine, we can't afford to turn a blind eye to the considerable instability in Iran, Iraq, and Pakistan.

China's looming plans to take Taiwan only add fuel to the fire. In times like these, where the world is on the brink of potential conflict, it becomes imperative to recognize the importance of traditional masculinity and its role in maintaining order and stability.

It's not about suppressing the strengths of any gender but rather acknowledging the unique qualities that both masculinity and femininity bring to the table. We should return to the values that built the foundations of strong, resilient societies, not this woke agenda.

There's no doubt about it, playing BG3 decreases your testosterone levels (LOL), and could lead to China taking over Taiwan (LOL). Thanks for making us aware of these looming dangers, OP.

"Traditional masculinity" translates to "I want to use my genitals as an excuse to treat everyone like ♥♥♥♥".

Anyone that spends too much time playing video games is going to have low testosterone.

Also, the OP makes some very solid points. The game is definitely over the top with a woke agenda with overly feminine men and all women made to be masculine boss-babes. There is also a ridiculous amount of LGBT representation in the game.

I failed to see that reflected in the OP's post. More likely you are revealing an issue you have.

I will have you know a few hours of Duke Nukem, and your testosterone levels surge back to normal.

Which girl bosses are we talking about exactly? Cause some are cringe, true, but many are legit.

So you're ok with people turning into bears, shooting fireballs, and a squid man eating your brain but god forbid there be a lot strong women. That's where you draw the line.

Yeah you literally just described DnD as a whole. There are groups of wizards, warlocks, druids, etc. behind every backroom door, hidden forest grove and dimly lit ship deck all of them trying to summon a new world order, an old god, or some combination of the two.

But again, you've got a problem with it here because they have groups of women.

And then you have the gall to sit there and wail about masculinity being under attack.

To you, and this joker:

If your masculinity is that fragile maybe you outta see someone about that and stop blaming video games.
