Mirror Questions (Spoilers)

House of Grief Mirror buffs.

So, on a previous play through, I figured out how to get the +2 bonus to whatever chosen stat.

But I’m seeing online you can also additionally get a +1 to a stat. I haven’t any instructions that are clear, or at least clear to me.

Can someone please explain to me how you go about getting both buffs? Thank you for any input!

I'm pretty sure the +1 comes from Auntie Ethel's hair, way back in act 1. AFAIK, the mirror of loss only gives you the +2 (in exchange of a -2 somewhere else)

EDIT : apparently, according to a reddit thread :

After some more digging around it seems you are able to give up a memory now and will SOMETIMES give a random +1 (might only be to CHA). You will need to save scum this as it seems to be completely random!

This +1 additional boon is apparently random or available only to specific characters. It is called “Patriar’s Memory” and always gives +1 charisma

The mirror works on a 1d6 basis. It sometimes can give you +1 to charisma and then +2 in any given stat after you sacrificed a stat.
