Hi. Is this a bug ? Only happens with Sussur Dagger

As you can see in the image. Every enemy keeps getting a successful saving throw against my sneak melee attack. Every time My base DC variable (8) is not counted towards the total calculation but the enemy base saving throw is counted correctly. My total sneak attack melee DC should be 19 instead of 12. This is happening every time even when i quit and relaunch the game. Is this a bug or am i missing something here ?

If you see the other image, when the game calculates the attack roll and damage roll and from the previous image, a saving throw, it calculate it correctly but my sneak attack melee DC roll is always calculated incorrectly. The game always ignores the 1st variable and doesnt even count it which is the base DC 8.

Please help.

Note: I also have reliable talent, so the minimum ability roll should be 10 but every time the game rolls 8.

It's not a saving throw.

Sneak attack does not require a saving throw. What the enemy is saving against is the silence effect on the sussur dagger which gets triggered by any attack performed with the weapon, if it's your sneak attack then the enemy will roll his save against silence on the sneak attack.

No you just don't understand how it works. Having a DC 19 in act 1 is impossible.

Reliable talent only effects skill checks. In addition it's the thing you are attacking that rolls not you. They only have a DC of 12. The save they roll is Constitution. You have no way of increasing the DC, it is set to the weapon itself.

That dagger could really use an update to it's description. Something like "Any enemy hit by this weapon has to succeed a DC12 saving throw or become silenced"

What do you mean it's impossible? Have you seen the numbers in my image ? It's adding up to 19 but the game is not taking in the variable 8 to calculate properly. That's why it's 12.

The DC of the silence effect on the dagger is 12; you can't increase it.

Are you saying that its fixed to 12 throughout the game ? Remember that im playing on custom difficulty where i increase the proficiency bonus to +8 instead of the regular +4. So are you saying that a sussur dagger DC for silence in a normal gameplay is 8 ?

proficiency bonus is clearly applied. please look at the image i uploaded. it clearly says

I dont know where you are getting your numbers from.

Seems the guy has some kind of a defense against sneak attack.
Also dices counting wrong was present for other stuff, so yes it seems to be a bug you might want to report to Larian.
Allthough i find it strange that the guy has a saving throw against sneak attack. Afaik there is only immunity against in edition 5.

Allthough if the game is modded, then leave it as it is probably a mods fault. (since +8 proficiency afaik is not possible in the base game since it caps on 4?)

game is not modded. it only happens with sussur dagger. The game is not counting the DC roll for the silence effect correctly.
