If you have to, look up a guide to find out EXACTLY where it is. Then use your high-lite key to find it and pick it up when you get there.

No point in shouting 'BUG' without actually doing the prep work.

Completed this quest in the current version of the game. It was where it was suppose to be. So if it wasn't it's probably because of a mod. Do you even know where it's suppose to be in the first place?

so did i. i picked every book i found there and nothing. i wonder why after 5 months this bug is stil;l a thing, yes i killed enemies near that shelf and now the book is gone. must say i had a glint for half sec but the shelf was empty.

nope, i killed 3 undeads near that shelf. now it is gone.

What does this even mean? It's in the shelf.

That bookshelf is nowhere near three undeads.

I never encountered this bug. Just load a save from before the battle and don't fight them by the shelf if you know what is causing it.

I never encountered this bug. Just load a save from before the battle and don't fight them by the shelf if you know what is causing it.

I strongly doubt there is such a bug.

It should be in one of the rows of books. If they aren't there or you can't interact with them, try going to camp and returning.

It's on the bookshelf 2nd closest to the entrance on right side. There is no orb in this room.

This has nothing to do with the Orbs. It is for getting the weapon to kill the Nightsong. And a couple of other items.
