game is in top left corner of my screen

played the game a few hours some time ago worked fine.. now when i start it it is in the top left quarter of my screen most of it off screen.. got new graphic driver no change.. i know there must be a way to fix this

could it be the resolution that the game is set too is way smaller than your monitor. This sounds familiar and i have not had that happen to me in years

i've not changed any settings .. however i mean maybe a patch did. but the menu access is part of what is off screen so is there a way i can do things outside of the game?

well in the whole start up process before the game.. i went to general settings there
found the reset graphic settings option .. hit that now it works.
i guess maybe it was something from a patch cause i have not even looked in the folder where the start up for the game is since i played it a bit and it worked fine then.. but anyway seems to work find again now so that was my problem solution here

Try clicking on the game window and pressing Alt+Enter a few times to wake the window up and resize it to desktop resolution.

If the game is super tiny while also being in the corner like that, it can also be caused by a windows bug that screwed the scaling up. Double check your driver config and make sure you either have the GPU scaling on or you have it on monitor scaling with "keep aspect ratio" ticked.

Are you using Win11? If so try dragging a window (any app, e.g. Steam) and hover over the top edge of the screen. It will bring down a few screen layout options, chose one and see if it pops the game window in place so you can access the setup menu from there.
