Body type 3 Romance
If I choose Body type 3 (strong female) does my character get locked into the more dominant role in romance? Does it depend on the character? Low spoilers please!

It will not change anything about roles.

Well, some romance scenes change the position of your character depending on size. Whether it changes the power dynamic as well is more on your interpretation.

I only know about Astarion, where it changes, and Halsin, where it is the same for both sizes

body type does not change the role you take during sex scenes

I had Gayle trick my character into going to a gay picnic (I had an active romance with Shadowheart during that time, and said no to Gayle before, but the game doesn't care. They must fill the quota of "forced diversity" to make ~10 people happy).

Characters were sitting, watching the moon, and their hands were overlapping. It looked like it's a bug, bad placement of character models or something. But: my tav had a standard body type and I even send them a bug report. Still not fixed, and something tells me it is not going to be fixed.

So I think it has no effect. The forced stuff is always there, no matter what "body type" you "choose". You can't choose your gender (doesn't exist in BG3 world) or orientation (doesn't exist too).

Do you imply that to make a good selling RPG you have to:

*Make everyone bisexual.
*Give a female drow companion - a male face and a male voice
*Add some forced gay interactions that are impossible to avoid.
*Add some trans, gay dwarfs here and there, and make them scream about it.

And so on... Without any of that - the game would fail. LOL

No, I'm stating the objective, verifiable fact that this is the best-selling cRPG of all time, and therefore your claim is false.
I have no idea. I never even thought about this. I play the smaller size male. But I'm curious to see if it makes a difference. I always romance Astarion and my character is the same size. He always seems more dominant but I figured it had more to do with his personality than size.

It's not forced diversity. I romanced Astarion as a dude, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ him, told Gale I wasn't interested, and he still was a little persistent.

Unless you are implying it's the forced diversity of double super extra gay or something.

And no, they did fix overly overt Gale.

The masculine female body type makes you a lesbian.

I played as smaller dude, bigger dude and bigger girl. For Astarion scene, he jumps on the bigger, the smaller jump on him, doesn't depend which gender. But in my oppinion that is just physics (he is just too small to carry the bigger ones) and doesn't necessarily change your role.

If you're talking about Minthara, she is voiced by Emma Gregory who is very much female. Her voice is a lot like Kate Mulgrew who played Captain Janeway in Star Trek Voyager and was the voice of Flemeth, the Witch of the Wilds, in the Dragon Age games. Thinking that there is just one standard female voice is plain weird and really ignorant.
