Most fans I've seen have been ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on WotC for years
EDIT: And with any appearance the player chooses that fit within the chosen parent's feats and traits. (ex. A half-Gnome/Centuar with the Gnome traits would need to be a Small sized Centaur if the player wants to look like a Centaur.)
There are more opportunities for half-race in the UA than ever before with less balancing hassles.
Do some research before posting stuff like this.
I disagree with your initial statement there.
Why do that when I can be outraged now?
The complete opposite. Wizards of the Coast are adding MORE half-race options. You'll be able to be any combination of half- you want.
Half-orc and half-goblin
Half-dragonborn and half-human
Half-dwarf and half-elf
Et cetera
And now you and the rest of the commenters know, I hope you act in good faith.
That's something not possible in 5e.
Did you know that in the 1e edition, women had a strength stat limitation on creation?
Now male half orc and female gnome are the same stat wise, thank to Tasha rule-set that is supposed to give "more flexibility" to the players.
Orc are aggressive humanoid monsters that live in tribal societies, so half-orc get a innate tendencies for aggression and usage of strength to win respect by force, but now in the 5e they are "emotional being capable of filling their hearts with love to inspires acts of incredible kindness"
wtf is that ♥♥♥♥.
You would, of course. Given that you were unable to articulate why you feel this way, it basically validates my view.
Low effort. Predictable.
(I think? I mean. I can see my own for now. I'll need to open a private browser window to check if it's public or sign out and the hassle of signing back in.)
