Dark Urge Alfira honor mode
Is there a surefire way to avoid her in honor mode, such as a point in the game where she isn't able to show up at your camp and regret it the next morning? For example, will she move to last light inn in act 2 if I never long rest in act 1, or can the long rest visit happen after resolving goblin village act 1/early act 2?

I'm aware of the non-lethal ganking strat, but act 1 has so many long rest cutscenes that I'm gambling my entire run (and potential hostility with random druids that see me attack her from 40 miles away) by knocking her out on the "wrong" night.

I've searched for alternate ways to get the CHA robes, but it seems saving her is the only way to do it. If anyone has found a non-modded fix, I would appreciate it

If she hasn't shown up now, she'll show up when you leave for mountain pass or act 2 through the underdark.

There's no 'avoiding' Alfira. It's better to do the non-lethal attack and trigger her on your own terms. ( She can trigger after any long rest after the bridge I believe ).

Utilize whatever you can to help you stealth the encounter. Darkness, ect.

They do that a lot more than I remember. Voss used to interrupt my characters on the road, but if my party doesn't meet him before traveling between zones after "dealing with" the monastery, he pops in overnight for the mandatory long-rest regardless which way the party's going (even back to the crash site).

In those, I've had one instance (so far) where the long rest had more than one cutscene.

I'll bet Alfira will be one of those situations where you can't cue up a higher priority scene to hope hers will get nixed when moving between zones.

EDIT: There seems to be a game-sanctioned (and still aggressive) way to prevent Alfira from dying to the Durge that should still be available to Honour Mode, but someone still dies... someone who your party never met before. ("Game-sanctioned" meaning it recognizes that someone other than Alfira died and is not glitchy with her alive and being thought of as dead.)

Sounds like all bad news then. On my first honor mode run I didn't even talk to her, and she still showed up in camp on my very first long rest - this was after triggering the questionable vampire activity scenes with Asterion in my party, which usually makes my first long rest cutscene the attempted (or consentual) biting scene

I love playing warlock and sorlock with the CHA robes, but having to trick the game into letting you do the quest for the best Eldritch Blast item in the game is just dumb. I guess I'm benching Wyll and playing a bard or something for my durge run
Technically, she doesn't regret anything the morning after she arrives at your camp.

Yes there is! You go and break her lute, be rude to her etc and she won’t show at your camp instead will be the Dragonborn .

Naturally she wouldn’t want to join you if you treat her like crap lol

A guaranteed way to know when Alfira is coming is to recruit Karlach without Wyll in the party, usually when you find Astarion's bitten boar.

So if you recruit Karlach, Alfira is guaranteed coming on the 2nd long rest after that point. The first long rest will be Karlach and Wyll arguing, and the second rest will be Alfira.

some other triggers you can try are kill the squirrel near the wooden elevator by the grove or the bird in Nette's room or you interact with the dead pig with Astarion i know these triggers are the start of Dark Urge cut scenes, so what i do is kill the squirrel, knock Alfira out then rest and watch Dragon Lady die

Not true. She shows up even if you break her Lute she is just annoyed that its you she runs into. Says shes going straight to bed. If you reject her from the camp your character goes and kills her anyway.
