Freecast not working.

so, took a fairly long break and came back to complete my run but have found a wierd issue with the illithid power "freecast" just not working, i've long rested plenty of times but i can never toggle the ability on, its like its been used already.

anyone know a fix?

not sure if its related but i also have the spore druid robes that let you cast other types of spores like timmask and haste spores which all say they require a long rest and yet will recharge multiple times with in the same fight... not complaining about that but i just wonder if its related?

Freecast has been bugged for a long time, (sometimes I was able to use it multiple times in the same fight...) but it seems just broken now?
Haven't played in a while and I came back to BG3 today and it seems completely unusable now... so I went to check the discussions and found this :)

I do not have a spore druid, all 4 of my characters have the ability and none can use it now...
(fighter/warlock, fighter, rogue/paladin, cleric/fighter)
So yeah no clue what's up with it.

Edit: I remembered (after reading a post that told me again) if you remove equipment (not a weapon) it will reset. Even if you already used it before a long rest, so abuse it at your own discretion. ;) (not really in a single turn as I stated, because it is an action i believe to equip something?) Anyways hope it helps :)
