Minthara vs Shadowheart. Which one to romance.

Okay so I'am on my second playthrough currently. On the first time I've romanced Minthara but there was a bug that didn't allow the romance to be full, and also I was playing evil character so it was okay with the lore.

Now I'am playing honorable Paladin, romancing Minthara is not good with my playstyle since I always do good deeds, but I really want to know what I missed during the first time.

Did I miss something huge with Minthafra or I can forget it and romance Shadowheart instead?

You're playing good guy pala, i don't think Minthara is fitting.
Specially since you'd either have to break your oath, or do the shenanigans of knocking her out etc.
I also heard Minthara's romance is not fully fleshed out yet (hearsay, i havent done it), so definitely Shart is a much better partner. Specially if you help steer her to the right path

She does seem to become a little less of a maniac as you progress on a good path.
But i can't fault her too much. that's as good as it gets for a Lolth puppet

I'am also leaning towards Shadowheart, roleplay is very important for me so I wouldn't want to break my Oath. Thanks for the reply.

I did the dirty with Minthara as a gnome, was a very strange set of scenes, reminded me of them old VHS pornos, just needed to add some of them old beats, dunt dunt dunt dunt bowchicka wowowwww dunt dunt dunt peweeoeoeoeowoeweoweoooo.

Pretty sure if I remember she hit me up for some gold after.

Romancing a Loth-sworn Drow is essentially the same as romancing a black widow (the spider, not the superheroine lol), so if this were IRL I would say definitely NOT Minthara.

But this is a videogame, so just go with whoever you think is hotter :D

Yeah I had this scene during my first playthrough. But later in the game there were no scenes like this anymore. I thought maybe they have added more of them now.

Minthara is the girl you can go on motorcycle rides with, go to parties and talk ♥♥♥♥ about everyone on the party and laugh at their stupidity .

Shadowhearth is the nice girl that would go with you at the party , hug everyone and possibly ditch you and hook up with your best friend because she just felt like it..

Minthara is the better option for me at least

Agree, I love her very much too, but I look at my character's perspective on that. A canonical paladin would never choose someone like Minthara.

AssTatrion is an answer to your question. Easily romanced. I'm not even trying to romance him but doing opposite and he apperead possible choice to spend night with again in the second playthrough.
Shadowheart... well... i romanced her in 1st playthrough, even kissed but on the camp party after defending the Grove she wasn't my bedding choice. Idk why, So I have to stick with Asstarion and watch that goofy fanfic parody on "Twilight" scene with Bella and Edward. And i play as a MAN in both playthroughs. That was... well... cringe.
I believe Larian writers have never been in real romantic situation with real people. I don't have other explanation why all "love cutscenes" are so goofy. I've seen 3D animation better made and directed than what i get in BG3.

Laezel is the “I’m always right and my ♥♥♥♥ don’t stink” type of woman and I don’t like that.

With Minthara I usually get a lot of humor and jokes , Laezel takes herself too serious for my liking
