Without your opinion my life would feel incomplete, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Also I think I have to edit the post a bit since I actually wanted to ask if someone can me help with this a bit :D
As to what you should do next - honestly, it sounds like you're on the right track. Explore as much as you can, don't rush into anything. There's a lot of existing lore, but don't try to get all of it at once, just google specific things if you're curious.
Baldur's Gate is the main city.. Ofc they are talking about it as almost everyone near it lives there.
Shadowheart is a dark cultist, it's up to you what you do with her.
Astarion was enslaved & mistreated. Ofc he is angry.
Karlach didn't have a choice (Lets say you're a Russian & Putin is calling all men into war; leaving the country is not an option. What do you think happens to you?).
Hellhole? You do know that you're in the countryside? And an alien enslavement ship which can travel between realms just crashed into it. Ofc all hell is going to break loose around it.
The town knows Wyll & you didn't have the brains to talk Wyll about it? The lord is his father..
It doesn't matter where you go first. All destinations lead into Baldurs Gate. It's up to you how much you explore & learn before it.
You clearly aren't interested or bright enough to piece together all the information around you & see the bigger picture.
In short, this game isn't for you. At least not yet.
Try again in 10 years after you've matured a bit.
PS. If figuring out companion builds is too much for you. Just follow a guide from the web.
As for Baldur's Gate the city, it's pretty typical of any D&D city in that it's got plenty of "bad" guys for the player to deal with. They might pretend to be upstanding citizens in public, but if you look closely or start poking around you discover that their public persona is an act. Sort of like mafia types, politicians and most political activists.
As for what to do next, explore the whole Act 1 map area and deal with the things you find, then go back to your quest log and try and complete all of them you can before going into the Underdark or Mountain Pass. If you're unsure about whether you complete them without leaving the act 1 area, check the wiki for that quest.
Jesus wasn't technically born on the 25th.
That being said, the next step to the game is simply to just explore the areas and have fun. Get creative with your approach. Talk your way out of a fight or kill everything you see.
