Why BG3 not on sale?

Hi, I have been looking for some time and Bladurs Gate 3 doesnt go on sale. Not even now after the game awards. Why?

It's already cheaper than most current AAA games are at full price.

i never buy full price games anymore , call me cheap if you want lol but waiting is fine with me , nm how long it takes the game will be a new experiance for me lol,

The game takes at least 120 hours to complete and encourages different playthroughs. There is no need for Larian to discount it when winning GOTY during the game awards and release on XBOX will boost the sales further.

And we dont have regional currency in Steam Store anymore.

I thought that awarded games were always on sale after the Game Awards event.

You don’t usually put something on sale at the height of popularity. However there still might be a small discount during the winter sale, keep checking m8

The game is still in the top 10 best selling games on Steam, chasing more sales with a discount only makes sense when it drops out of the top selling games. You might get a small token discount of 5% around Christmas.

Why sell cheaper a game that is a top seller?
Makes no sense from any sane point of view.

It probably won't go on a sale before 1st year anniversary.

this is true but it could simply mean no price has been negotiated yet that everyones happy with , us cheapos just gotta wait lol
