Too many bugs for a Honor run... games broken

Like the title says. This game isnt in a condition for a single save run. Ive spent more than a couple hours already finding work arounds for various bugs ive encountered. Nothing too crazy, but more time spent than should have been. Most currently stuck with another minor one where I cant talk to Minthara to ask her to leave my party. Tried clicking on her, and nothing. Right clicking on portrait, and clicking talk nothing. Killing her off, rezzing her with withers, nothing. Just cant talk to her at all. Brought her into party to gear her up after rescuing her from moonrise prison, and now i cant get rid of her. But this next bug has ruined my Honor run.

I am stuck at the top of moonrise towers. Ran through fight, got ketheric down, triggered cutscene, all went as normal. After cutscene, went to open chest and realized I was still in combat.... With a dead Npc. Game also decided to save afer the cutscene. So now i am stuck, with a single save. Worked my team back to the door, and got out of combat, went to camp, long rested, came back. As soon as i walk in the door, instantly put back into combat with same dead NPC. Cant jump down hole. Cant kill off my party due to honor mode. Tried using necromancy to rez said dead NPC and it wont let me. Went back through door to break combat, and into basement through bottom floor to try to find a way to glitch through the wall to get to where chop is.

I am not the only one with this bug, nor is it new. There is a whole reddit post about it from 3 months ago. Wasnt a problem before, everyone found a solution by reloading and redoing the fight, an option removed by honor mode. This games been so amazing, but also a big letdown. I quit playing for a while when act 3 became so laggy/delayed I was having 5-10+ second delays on inputs. Figured with patch out, Id leave that run alone so as not to spoil the game ending, and just start a new Honor run, and now i run into this. what a giant disappointment.

Gonna go back to basement tomorrow and try to glitch through the wall and get over to chop. Hopefully I can get a misty step to get through

This is gonna sound sarcastic, but I promise it's not. Have you tried retreating from the fight, long resting, exiting the game, then reloading back in? that might substitute the quick save/quick load workaround and not spoil your honor run.

Yup. Got loooots of death threats for saying its odd how Larian is asking fans to vote. Not saying it isn't GOTY, not saying its a bad game, just said that Larian shouldnt beg.

Good games speak for themselves. BG3 does, so why make these cringey posts saying they "need your support"

Um yeah part of playing an honour mode type game is accepting the fact that ♥♥♥♥ could happen. Could be a bug due to your system, could be a power outage in your city, could be an asteroid hitting the earth that ruins your game.

Most especially since you claimed the bug wasn't new. So you knew about it happening to a few people beforehand yet you chose to play honour mode anyway.

What's weird is that you think its odd that a company asked their fans to vote. Literally every game company who got nominated did that. The entire field of marketing is about getting people to buy and support your product.

Yea man. I spent almost 2 hours trying stuff. I can't actually retreat. Even if I'm more than 90 feet retreating doesn't work. I click on it and nothing happens. Only way to break is working back to doorway. I've reloaded the game over a dozen times. Changed out party members, minus minthara since I can't talk to her.

This stuff isnt helpful. Larian does get special treatment. Diablo 4 had something similar when it launched with their permadeath mode and the community wanted their heads lol. Since it's Larian though it's now some how magically a skill issue...

The dead enemy that's triggering the fight, is the corpse still around? You could maybe try throwing it into a chasm if you haven't tried that yet. Past that, I'm out of ideas and I feel for you.
