Why arent we allowed to put armor in camp clothing slots?
Seems like a really weird choice to make what is essentially a vanity slot, but then not let us equip anything besides rags in them?

Could go a long way in solving the function/form problem, when it comes to style.

You can use the little button at the top to set what appears. Either your Camp Clothes or your equipped gear. And, you WILL get much more fashionable Camp Clothes options as you play. :)

Yeah but you can never equip anything but camp clothes there. Just seems odd to me to create a vanity gear tab, but then restrict the main reason why players would want to use it? (to wear the armor they think looks cool, regardless of how good it is)

Like how I think Shadowheart and Lae'zels starter armor looks better on them then most other things. Would be nice to just drop that into the camp clothing slot so they dont have to look like ♥♥♥♥ wearing what ever is best at the time.

I agree that putting in the restriction was kind of stupid and short-sighted. I see no reason you should not be able to load anything you want into those slots (that would naturally go there).

Maybe it will be changed someday. :)
There are cloth mods around that use that slot...for that it works great :P

At a guess, the animations are tied to the models, so the motion capture wont work with all the skimpy stuff in the game.

Is this a serious question?

It was worded strange so I didn't understand at first, but you're essentially saying that you want the Clothing slot to work as a "Transmog" of sorts. Where you can equipped good stat armor but then put good looking armor on in the clothing tab to look like you're wearing that.

I never really thought of that. Go make a post on Larian's official forums as a suggestion. That could completely solve the request for a transmogrification feature.

You do realise those forums are more gate kept than these ones? At least we get to laugh at the righties here :)

I'm fine with them keeping camp clothes, but they should have a secondary set of equipment slots that are purely for looks.
