Fail my first honor mode on Hag

Any idea how to beat this? I find this just impossible, 8 copies and every single on of them can cast paralasis. I dont find it possible to with without exploits. She just permastun my entire party to death.

I beat her by spamming fire arrows on her clones and running the "real Hag" down with Karlach and Lae'zel. Also IMO potions of speed are a must against ANY boss in honor mode.

Like everything in BG3... delete them before they delete you. Stealth/invis... surprise... 2-shot.

Unless you actually want to 'play' the game... then yeah it's a ♥♥♥♥♥ and you can't cast any spells. Stack poison elixirs, void bulbs work wonders for dispelling the illusions (can't miss, large aoe, not a spell), spam pots.

Who needs healers when you have numbers later on this can go in to insane numbers mainly once you get the VI air elemental with stun and you haste it... thats 8* stun

I have found one of the easiest and most effective things to do is to take the very first Feat for everyone to be "Alert". For me, that has been much, much better than putting 2 points into a stat.

Having everyone go first in just about every combat is a real game changer. :)

Basically you sneak into her little chamber on the side and hide most of your party there. Then put poison resist on your tankiest character and send him out to initiate combat and waste all of the clones turns. Then come out with the rest of your party and start destroying clones.

Otherwise yea, if 4 clones land Hold Person on each party member in the opening round you're dead.

can't use magic missile or cast spells in hag lair because she creates more copies of herself every time a spell is cast.

The trick to defeating her is when you talk with her at the cabin entrance, switch to another character while talking with her and cast grease or if you have a fighter or monk, knock her prone. The dialogue ends and battle begins upstairs. She has horrible save rolls against prone. Grease will make her fall again and again. Make sure you turn off the fireplace, you don't want the grease to catch on fire. Beat the living snot out of her upstairs. SHe will be dead before you even enter her lair. That is the best way to defeat her.

throw the void bombs from the ship. They do 1 damage to copies in a large radius and also can't kill the girl if she is hit. Then burn down the real one. If you can't cast spells, go home and swap out for face smashers.

summon the ogres for this fight, the hag wont be able to kill them and you have more time to break their concentration. Except for the gith bridge fight, you dont really need the ogres for any other fight.

Try 4 high dex bow rangers with poison resist. If you can wait til level 5, you get 2 attacks each and the high dex means you don't need to sacrifice your feat on alert. As others pointed out, load up on fire arrows and have at it.

Hunter's mark the hag and use magic missiles to dispel the randoms.
