why play it again?
i played the nice guy on my first game. i don't want to kill the characters i like. is there something fun to do if you replay it because so far from what i saw the game is essentially the same no matter your choices. i mean there are diffrent endings but the game is still area 1,2 and 3 no matter what you choose to do. the only cool thing i can think of is to mod my game and play around, but this sounds ;like a bad idea since the game is getting updated all the time. is there anything cool for me to do if i replay it?

i don't want to kill all the characters that i like, i love being a wizard too much to play as anything else, i only missed two things that i regret missing so far. 1-i didn't learn to play music in act 1, 2- i didn't get the lantern to summon a shadow in act two. not really worth restarting for.

Id say do dark urge.... that at least have some new plot twists

as for another run....

Ive been trying to force myself for 3rd run as origin character but I cant seem to pick one.

then dont kill them, and play wizard and use a different specalization.

if you do not see a reason to replay, then don't, its your choice

If replaying the same stuff is not worth it to you to get to different story story branches, then Honour Mode you should try.

I started playing Karlach that's pretty fun. Only early in act 1 though.

I won't kill Laezel and Wyll right away. That will add a lot of quests I missed by doing that. Probably won't kill Minthara either. There is a huge amount of content in the game that can be missed based on your choices. Unless you slavishly follow a detailed guide you will have missed a lot. Following a guide isn't fun. Gonna play an instrument too and have a Bard in the party. I missed several quests simply by doing things in Act 3 in the 'wrong' order and by the secret timers the game doesn't tell you about.

Different party, Different you..Take different quest paths. See what you missed. Plenty of replayability.

Different classes/ multiclasses, different romance option, do some things differently and so on.

Do higher difficulty level for more challenging and interesting fights , etc etc.

I have played it like 8-9 times already and still don’t feel bored , I don’t think I have had a single player game after fallout 2 back 25 years ago that I enjoy replaying over and over ..

And with the camp ending they added , now there is even more reason to as everyone could have different ending depending on your choises

You can try sorcerer, it’s still a wizzard in a way but charisma based and you get a lot of cool new effects due to sorcery points .

I felt like I tried pretty hard to see "everything" I could on my first play through and it's almost impossible to do by accident; you inevitably missed things. I mean I somehow missed Alfira's song altogether the first time.

I dunno honestly, I enjoyed playing through it again though I try different methods and sometimes I find the little tid bits I missed. A conversation I never seen before because I tried a different tactic or found a trinket that caused a new conversation. True the end result is usually the same but the small things is what makes it interesting.

You don't have to if you don't want to.
