Dark Urge (default ofc) is the only based way to play this game

Sorry custom nerds, I didn't make the rules. If you don't play a default Dark Urge playthrough ONCE (good or evil, doesnt matter) you're bottom of the barrel, fish caught in a net.
Not gonna lie though, I wish he had actual voiced dialogue in cutscenes. Or make him an actual origin character with making him a self insert as an option or something, I dunno.

I like Resist Urge.

However, Urge locks you to that roll.

My Tav on the other hand can have their own backstory. Sure, it's not as connected to the plot but that's w/e.

You can fully customize Durge,,,I started a female strongheart halfling open hand monk durge run...though never got far because of the impending doom of loosing alfira...^^

I must have missed that option when starting my Durge. I’m not far into it. I’ll remake them. I did look to find the race option but wasn’t able to.

So true. Also Shadowheart is the only good romance option w/ default Durge. Nobody else matters.

I'm going that route as well. I'm only a few missions away from completing the game. Gonna spend my vacation from work playing evil Durge as soon as I finish. Default as usual. I might play as a Paladin but I'm not sure yet. Playing as a sorcerer while being a murderous psychopath is just odd to me

I agree. Custom feels so empty to play, I can't imagine ever playing custom again after playing good and bad run on Durge.

That's just exploiting a failsafe in the writing in case Alfira died....
I mean you are free to use all the cheese you want, for me it feels wrong in that instance....
Also knocking her out is still not exactly the treatment I wanna give her...:P

I'm doing a resist-the-durge playthrough, but next time I pick durge, I'm going to let beast run wild.

(I do know Tav? will rip off Gale's hand if Tav? daydreams about it. I want to know about the drowning child daydream, the torture daydream, and all of it... next time.)
