I am stuck in the very beginning, this door labeled 'sphincter' wiil not open even when I right click on it and go to "Open". Bug?

Sometimes there can be a graphical bug due to you running low on system resources. The door will open, but it will look like it's closed. If you click behind it you should be able to walk through.

I think he/she is referring to the doors on the nautiloid. You know.. the doors out of wet flesh looking like a s s h o l e s

I've noticed a lot of weird little hitches where I can't interact with things while playing, and quicksaving/reloading usually fixes it.

Ah yes, that particular door. I know exactly which door you are talking about. It's that one door of many at the very beginning.

Doesn't own the game here, specifically wants to open the door with a right click (trying a left click would be a second)...

You can right click pretty much everything and be given a contextual menu. Right click > open is incredibly common. If anything, your comment is trolling.

It could be the camera angle. Try zooming in & then open the door. One thing I learned quickly in this game is to constantly rotate the camera angle.

More than likely a visual bug. I remember I had on original release patch one of those doors seemingly stuck closed, but could walk through it.

Ah right, the menu - do they talk about a menu? No - they claim "it doesn't open when right clicked". Because they - who do NOT own the game here - don't know about the menu. You're right, that the menu exists - except this just makes the trolling even more obvious. You're apparently incredible gullible.
