You can tell Minthara where the grove is, and then tell her you are going to go inside and raise the gate for her. And then you can either do it (double-crossing the grove) or not do it (double-crossing Minthara).
Pretty sure either way would count as a lie that would break a Paladin oath.
If you want to sneak around and lie to people, maybe you shouldn't be a paladin.
Fair. But I was a bit confused, because an option to get Lae'Zel out of that cage with a lie was marked [Paladin].
