how to create a custom tav in an ongoing multiplayer game?

i have 2 Tav's in my game from 2 friends that previously played in my save.

i am now playing with another friend, but when i invite him via steam, it just gives him one of the two old tavs. how does he create his own custom tav?

ah okay. so basically a save is limited to 4 custom tavs and after those are all created any player is forced to use one of them. thank you for enlightening me.

Correct. Currently that is so. I personally hope there will be an option to remove existing Tavs in the future or allow to add more. That a new player who joins is forced to use an existing Tav is kinda a bummer and is only understandable with avatars which are also origin characters.
