That's really going to depend on what you and she like to play. It's a fairly demanding game, in some ways, but could definitely be a fun time playing together.

Absolutely yes, in fact I play it before going to sleep, you can save your progress even if you are in the middle of a battle.

Yep, it's very chill on the explorer difficulty

I would not recommend it for "chill coop". There are better game choices for that, such as Stardew Valley, Minecraft, Raft - even Dave the Diver is nicer to watch and chill with taking turns to play.

Yeah it's very chill

Yes. It's very chill game and usually gives you multitude of ways to handle a scenario. It's quite long game however and you should take that into account if you're tight on time. I'd recommend taking at least few hours to play at a time or it will feel like game isn't moving forward.

Probably if both of you played similar games but learning everything at your own pace from scratch is not very chill for coop.

I feel like its chill compared to some other games, but everyone is right on the money, it isn't necessarily "fast paced" by any means, but there's plenty of action if that makes sense. If you're used to more comfort or cozy games, this is definitely not "chill"
Literally no time limit or real pressure ever so yes, get it. It's like chess RPG, even chess is less chill since there's usually a timer on turns.

I think you and your wife will get sucked in a gaming black hole for a month or more. And will probably remember the adventure forever.

Cue Bryan Adams - back in the winter of 24...

its enjoyable but its not casual. Even normal mode you need some tactics and understanding of mechanics to beat it. That said it offers several casual friendly hand holding things like resetting any character at any time, and hints for how to allocate stats and such as you spec.

It can be pretty chill but I don't think this game is ideal for coop play. There isn't really a way to do true multiplayer dialogue, so you're going to have to trade off who does the talking or just have one person do all the talking. The game is capable of it but there are better games for chill casual coop.
It really depends on how well you gel with the other players.

I tried playing with my friend and a third who knew him, and it was a complete schitt show. The otjer guy would Leeroy Jenkins every fight (on Tactician) without saying anything (we were on Discord) so we kept wiping.

Haven't played co-op since.
