I might have to hold off on my current playthrough. (I'll look up ways to get Lae'zel's romance back on track... if possible. I don't know if she can leave prior to act 3, but she's probably right at the edge if she can.)
C'mon Larian, don't go all Owlcat (notorious for patches breaking more things than fixing)
If you believe that, then it is on you. I have checked the list and cannot confirm. In fact there were reports before the patch like threadstarter's and all without exceptions were caused by mods.
I run a couple of mods (lvl 20 multiclass and a cheaty extra items one, since I started the run as a silly solo one for a power trip) and in my case after the patch #16 quest items broke. Before then I was able to progress quests requiring items without an issue. I only noticed this issue now that I got to act 3 and tried to do the mad monk quest and after that the djinni one, neither one register the item(s) being in my possession, it seems.
So, at least in my singular case it's probably just another "patch breaks mods, news at 11" situation, just kind of a rough one since it just stops some quests from working completely.
Grrrrrrrr. Once again it is CREATING problems instead of fixing anything.
I growl, because I have never used it, (standalone anyway) but it may be buried/embedded in certain mods, and my Mod Manager won't tell me which ones.
Also, I can't use Script Extender. This is the SAME problem it is causing with the Epilogue, for me anyway.
