And if not, what would you recommend instead?

Yeah it does.

Straight bourbon seems to be effective. As does mixing said bourbon with lemon juice and simple syrup and pouring it over a glass full of ice. .

Whisky and Grass will put you on your ass even harder. It's 10/10. Don't recommend doing it if you have plans the next day.

Scooby Snacks are far too much power for any mortals to consume in one sitting. That's why we only see Shaggy, and Scooby eating them.
